Job Description In your new role, you will · Support applications of Power Management and MOSFET products · Provide all types of technical support leading to design wins, as well as ongoing support for existing products and customer programs as needed; this include schematic/layout reviews, board bring ups, tuning/optimization, full validation, and generating validation reports · Troubleshoot board power solutions in customer end applications on-site at customer labs · Maintain and develop understanding of customer's products · Understand system solution design decision and trade-offs (including magnetics, capacitors, and control loop) and make recommendations on product selection for the desired cost/benefit ratio · Actively participate on team account activities to advance strategies and tactical alignments to help bring about design win opportunities at key customers | |
Your Profile You have strong communication and presentation skills and work effectively in a team environment. You are also a self-starter, able to think and act strategically and operationally without directions You are best equipped for this task if you have: · MSEE preferred or BSEE with equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years working experience on power management circuit applications with BSEE; minimum of 4 years working experience with MSEE · Experience with circuit simulations, SIMPLIS preferred · Experience in applications and/or design of end equipment using DC/DC control ICs & power semiconductors · Strong quantitative analysis skills and be able to quickly understand complex issues and/or problems to troubleshoot effectively · Attributes of being reliable, responsive, creative and capable and willing to take responsibility · Experience with using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, electronic loads, network analyzers, multi-meters, etc.) · Good skills with PCB rework; strong soldering skills preferred |
